Linear drainage systems collect run-off water from paved surfaces and deliver it to the rainwater system, drainage ditches or retention reservoirs. Water collected in this way can be used for economic purposes afterwards. A typical system of linear drainage systems consists of channels, grates, drain boxes, drains and plugs. Drainage gullies are most often placed along garage doors or at the entrance to the property.
